CHARLES DOS ANJOS
Professor Charles Dos Anjos, a native of Recife, Brazil, is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and our Adult Program's Chief Instructor. His accomplishments include eight Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu State Championships, three Judo State Championships, and Black Belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Karate.
In addition to his martial arts career, Professor Dos Anjos serves the State of Florida as a Juvenile Detention Officer with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, a position of public trust dedicated to youth development, accountability, and community safety.
He has trained numerous elite athletes, including 3-time IBJJF World Champion Braulio Estima, Vitor Estima, and José "Zé Radiola" Olímpio. THADEU VIEIRA
Professor Vieira is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a 5th degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Grand Master Helio Gracie lineage and Luta Livre (Brazilian No-Gi Submission Wrestling) under former UFC and Pride fighter, Grand Master Hugo Duarte. One of Florida's most successful youth BJJ coaches, Vieira has produced over 1,000 medals (click to verify) with our own children right here from Sarasota. He has written children's BJJ books and has a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from UNI-FOA University in Rio de Janeiro. Professor Vieira is married and has 4 children and lives in Sarasota area since 2005.
Thadeu is one of the co-founders of the USA Luta Livre along Hugo Duarte and is the current Chief Operations Officer.
