CHARLES DOS ANJOS

Professor Dos Anjos, our Adults' chief instructor and a native of Recife, Brazil, holds a 6th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He meticulously teaches correct technique, drawing most of his experience from an unmatched competitive background as an eight-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu State champion and a three-time State champion in Judo. In addition, Professor Dos Anjos holds a Black Belt in both Karate and Judo. Over the years, he has developed a strong interest in training law enforcement officers and self-defense applications.

Professor Vieira is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a 5th degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Luta Livre (Brazilian No-Gi Submission Wrestling). One of Florida's most successful youth BJJ coaches, Vieira has produced over 1,000 medals with our own children right here in Sarasota. He has written children's BJJ books and has a bachelor's degree  in Physical Education.
